Coca-Cola Vanilla Round Two

Oh yeah, Coca Cola Vanilla (neé Vanilla Coke) is back, after being discontinued back in 2005 due to poor sales. The sometimes icky aftertaste is still there though. I bought some light Vanilla Bean Haggen-Daaz to enjoy with mine.

The new design is a vast improvement as well, compared to the old EXTREEM design:

I checked out the graphic novel rendition of Babysitters Club Book 3: The Truth About Stacey today. Oh, how the time changes!

Annual Spring Soda Stock up!

ALL the new sodas were up at Wal Mart today. Pepsi Summer mix (tropical flavored pepsi, Diet Coke Plus (vitamins), and the Jones Cane Sodas (has cane sugar instead of HCFS).

Past spring soda hauls:
…I didn’t really group them together in 2006.

Diet Coke Plus

I finally got to try Diet Coke Plus today when I went to Food Lion to pick up a single roll of T.P. (why bother paying an arm and a leg for a pack at Food Lion when mom and I are going to Wal Mart tomorrow?). It was kinda flat, but it was a lot better than I thought it was going to be.

Remember two years ago when I started taking photos of every beverage I tried, and Diet Coke With Splenda was the first drink I reviewed?

I thought of that today as I was trying this beverage (since after all Diet Coke put a blue cap on this drink as well), but this time, Diet Coke Plus blew Diet Coke With Splenda out of the water.

I took this picture with the self timer on my Polaroid Spectra Onyx.

expect a lot of updates soon. I’ve been behind.

Ben & Jerry's Chunky Monkey Shake

Yeah, this stuff has been around for almost over a year and I haven’t tried it yet. Only reason why I did was because Food Lion has $1 off coupons on the door.

This stuff tasted like chunky monkey ice cream (without those icky chocolate chunks) , but the texture was a bit too … off for me.

Jolly Rancher Cinnamon Cherry Fire SodaNow, I love Cinnamon Jolly Ranchers. But in a soda mixed with cherry?

On the television is an episode of The Daily Show from late 2000, with Jonathan Katz as guest. I’m slowly putting all my Daily Show’s on DVD.

Lipton Brisk's new EXTREEM!! Look.

At first when I saw this in the cooler at Wal Mart, I thought that it was a new Mountain Dew label or something, due to all the green. But it is a Apple Flavor "iced green tea". I could barely taste the apple in it.

I guess Lipton is trying to get with a younger demo with this new design. Kinda reminds me of a Target ad (except sub red for green) or something.

I haven’t tried the Raspberry White Tea flavor yet.

Man, the Cadbury Schweppes stuff is really overtaking the Coke stuff now.

I was telling someone that I had been kicking my self in the rear for not saving the 2005 Google April Fool- their own drink called Google Gulp! I actually remember believing this stuff for 2.5 seconds (I think I had seen the page the day after April Fool’s).
