I bought Faygo Red Pop the same day I bought the Candy Apple soda I bought the other day. That stuff tasted like the smell of men’s colonge.

I went to this Exxon in Franklin, VA yesterday, and I saw it the minute I started to walk torward the place to pay for my gas (nope, can’t use the ol debit card anymore) … Faygo. Fay-go. Faygo is mostly sold in third tier convenience stores out in my parts. I expected to just see orange Faygo or something, but nope, they had a cooler full of the stuff! Including… Candy Apple Faygo. I read somewhere that this stuff is now discontinued, so who knows how long this bottle had been sitting in the cooler.
This was a “fan submitted” flavor. (hence the hand drawn label) I read on the boards on bevnet.com, that the band Insane Clown Posse loves this stuff, and if you give them a bottle of Faygo at a concert they’ll spray it all over the audience.
My review : I love this stuff. I’ll keep on buying until the nice little Korean lady at the Exxon stops having it in her cooler.

Well, it passes the Sweettart Test (see sticky note I’m holding up)
It tastes like a sweeter Red Bull. — a huge sweet Red Bull in a gigantic can.

Apparently its “Free Frosty Weekend” or something. Last night I went out with my sister, mom, and my neice Crystal (who is my age) and she told us about the Free Frosite Night. We all got little free frosties expect for my mom. She didn’t want one.
Look how tiny they are!

I finally found the much bally-hooed Bawls energy drink at Seven Eleven this week.
I give it a “why did I buy three bottles of this?” rating.

Hands down, one of my votes for prettiest soda can would have to go to Hansens. Natural foods sections are popping up in grocery stores out where I live, and Hansens is always there. This can is the Cherry Vanilla Creme flavor.
It tases like the Cherry cobbler that you’d find in TV Dinners in the 80’s/early 90’s—but it is plauged with a nasty aftertaste. So I’ll probably not buy this stuff again.
the glass next to the can does not have Cherry Hansens in it. It’s some cheap ol Andre Peach Passon sparkling wine. I hate drinking out of wine glasses/ champange glasses.

I give this a rating of “meeegh” (see me making “meegh” hand motion) I’m not a fan of regular Diet Coke and I’m not a fan of this Diet Coke With Spenda. Give me Diet Coke with Lemon, Vanilla, Cherry or in extreme circumstances, Lime.
People just like buying things with the word ‘SPLENDA’ pissed all over it.
And why am I dressed like a bank teller in this photo?
*edit* July 5, 2005. I never had this stuff again.
*edit* December 11, 2005 Wow, my Diet Coke perferences have really changed since this entry. Now I only like Diet Coke with Lime and regular Diet Coke. Cherry and Vanilla are too strongly flavored for my tastes.
